We packed our gear, visited a giant ram and booked ourselves a room in a sleepy town called Wagin for last weekends ‘Wagin burnouts ‘event, the weather was looking a bit dicey but ended up being an awesome day, arriving around 11:30am, we checked in to our hotel room and then once unpacked we headed down a 17km half sealed half unsealed road to a massive property with a burnout pad 🙂
Practice skids were already underway with qualifying due to start at 3pm, we grabbed some quick shots before the onslaught of type popping. The competition had around 80 cars with v6 and v8/charged classes, the field of skidders was looking good.
Fred Watson in Fear, Steve baker in jailbait and Jayde Williams’s HQ bearing the plates [TOUCHIT] as a dedication to a young bloke who passed away recently were some of the top contenders with Jayde taking out 1st place doing a mind blowing skid while his engine bay was engulfed in flames, he surely did deserve the win
