It was drift time on Saturday the 20th Of October, so we packed our camera for the first time in ages to cover the 2012 first drift round and we weren’t disappointed!
The weather was looking mighty fine with a top of 27 and not a cloud in the sky, it’s been a while since we have had to stand out in the sun as the motorsport season took its break for 8 months. We enjoyed the day catching up with our fellow drifters and meeting a few of the new seasons photographers aswell, testing out some new gear and settings made the day interesting for us , capturing some amazing photos for our drifting fans!
After lunch the battles and finals began with Mitch Bunney taking out 1st place in his Silver R32, Tarquin Van Rooyen took out 2nd place with Brendon Greaves taking a happy 3rd (all pictured below)
Overall an excellent day and we look forward to the next round, which for us will be round 3 as we head off to Narrogin to cover the Annual Revheads; hopefully i can convince someone to cover the round for us!
