The 2013 Tattoo convention was held over the weekend in the Perth convention centre and although i didn’t get there till sunday arvo it was sill buzzing with people getting tatts, watching people get tatts and buying all sorts of merch from the traders there.
As usual i met a few mates and did some talking plus meeting a few peeps i’ve only met through Facebook which is always a pleasure, plus with the on and off stage antics, i had a good time, although some people did say it wasn’t quite up to the last time it was in town and the stage schedule was a bit mixed up, it still was good to have this type of event held here in far-away Perth, we do miss out on some of the big name events and all i can say is i hope it comes back bigger and better. i did see the guys from “LA ink” do some work as well as all the other WA tattooist and was pretty impressed by the work that i saw and shot. makes me want to get some ink done myself! (i have 1 tatt from my first ,and only, marriage) but i keep buying damn cars instead!
some of you may say ‘why is this on a car site?” well considering how many car owners have tatts and the link between cool cars and cool tatts going back to the 50’s, i think more than a few of the readers will like this post.
