Well, Richie Howlett has pulled it off again! Another well organised and truly enjoyable “One Night Stand”.This round held in the quiet little town of Manjimup, almost 300kms south of Perth. With all the usual burnout lovers such as [FEAR], [BIG RIG], [RAVIN] and more on a new, never before used 15mx20m pad at the Manjimup Speedway it was certainly one to keep watch of. With the power and speed of some of the entrants, it was rare to see a car not hit the dirt at least once.
Top spots went to Garry Hutton in [HOOD], Chris in [WILD LH]and Brandon Mitchell in [BIG RIG] and of course Debbie Benedetto in [ANDROMEDA] taking out the woman’s plaque, the ONLY female entrant for this round of “One Night Stand”.
Apparently the burgers were the best ever (I missed out on having one!) and there seems to be nothing bar good reports from both spectators and entrants for this event.Word going around is “One Night Stand” Bunbury will be happening again on October 13 or 14th, with already many big names showing interest, look forward to it being in my own back yard and hopefully this time around being an entrant!Thanks to the Manjimup Speedway, Richie Howlett and all of the entrants for putting on a great show!
