seeing as it was a long weekend this weekend, we decided to take the long haul to Geraldton to catch a couple of events, the mid-west show and shine and the one night stand burnouts . The mid west show and shine has been going on up there for a while now and we haven’t had a chance to get up there just for the show, it’s a long way to go for 1 day so we have always missed it.
Well this year they decided to host the “One night stand” burnout competition up there on the weekend aswell , this made it a great reason to do the 500 odd kilometer trip , cover two events in one weekend …why not!
The trip up there was great; we haven’t been to Geraldton since we were about 18! And reckon we could easy live up there, but we won’t because we wouldn’t have autolife Perth! 🙂
Anyway it was a great weekend , the burnouts were very popular with the locals , kinger did a awesome display burnout aswell as HORNUT and the Bandag bullet put on a firey show for the crowd , and even better is that there is another “one night stand” in 2 weeks’ time in bunbury , so were off up there too!
