Cruise 4 charity 11 was looking to be a good day… Until it started raining and never stopped the whole day! From the meet point in Joondalup all the way to the end at the Motorplex the skies were not kind, even once 200+ cars made it to the end and waited to see if it would pass over. nah.. nothing… just more rain.. Thankfully your intrepid photographer who.. like the posties.. will shoot whether it be rain hail or more rain, i went and shot while it rained down on me (you MAY notice rain in most of the photos!!) and yes i got drenched, but you wouldn’t have all these photos if i didn’t, it’d be just a bunch of words.. and no-one wants to read that! and although the event, including the burnout demo’s, was eventually cancelled.. the Dyno cell stayed (once they got a generator) and a few of the diehard fans stayed and watched the power figures rise and fall all with a bit of noise (which was better than the rain!) (the blue ITP Supra won the day with 769hp)
so there you have it, the burnouts will be rescheduled for a Wednesday night soon, but thats it for the cruise…. now to dry off and have a nap 😉
