Perth Motorplex is delighted to announce the appointment of popular Street Machining photographer and media identity – Jordan Leist, as the official Motorvation Entrants Co-Ordinator.
Leist’s involvement is part of a major overhaul by Motorplex Management to ensure the continued development for one of Australia’s longest running and prestigious street-machine shows.
“I am really excited to be involved with Motorvation and the Motorplex team in 2015,” beamed Leist. “To have the chance to implement some great changes, to help in emphasizing the show car side of things and to give a new flavour to the event is something that I can be proud of.”
“I have been attending the show as a spectator since it was held at the Burswood Dome; I have had my car (Mazda 1500) amongst the Top Ten Elite trophies and for the last few years I have been covering the show for Street Machine magazine with my photos, so to have some influence on how the event runs seems like a logical step and a big opportunity too.”
Leist agrees that the re-energizing of the Formula Tech Elite Pavilion with superb car machinery is key!
“There is so many quality cars in Perth covering all build styles and concepts it is my dream and my plan to have the Formula Tech Elite Tent packed to the hilt with the best quality around and to have the very best street cars out in Performance Park battling for their own trophies and Top Ten placings as well.”
The excitement is building amongst the Perth Street car fraternity with the changes already announced and Jordan is feeling the love already, out there…
“Motorvation will really have all bases covered next year. From old school to new school, from cruisers to bruisers and the action will be out of control on the burnout pad – mark my words”
“With $5,000 dollars and the prestigious Grand Champion award up for grabs I expect to see some undiscovered gems coming to the surface. For a real twist at Motorvation 29, Hot Rods are now eligible for the Grand Champion prize so hopefully we can see some old tin collecting the new brass!”
