GM Day – 25th November 2012

by

The GM owners day is the big one for anything GM (of course) but this is the only time they all get together at the one time, and i think they pretty much all came out and filled the Blue Steel oval to the max. everything from old school Buick’s and chevs to XU1 toranas and late model commodores where in attendance and all looking rather shiny under the slightly cloudy skys, you really couldn’t ask for a better day to have a show ‘n’ shine in Perth.

This year there were some vintage trucks in attendance from old ute  and fire trucks to some really old 1920’s(?) stuff. you really dont see these older vehicles out these days and it was a good thing to see amongst all the newer cars. and with curtin radio on site playing some tunes and all the food vendors out in force, you didn’t really need to go anywhere else, just grab some food and drink, pick a spot and sit back and relax while chatting to people about cars…what a great day!
