Day of the Volkswagen 2014 was idyllic, nearly clear skies with a touch of wind and a nice high 20C’s temp made for a perfect day for a car show. Even though there were a few shows on (there always is this time of year) 200 odd VW’s still managed to come 
out of their winter slumber to get out in the spring air and meet the rest for the annual Volkswagen club of WA’s event. Lots of very shiny cars with what seems to be really bright colours seemed to be the stand out this year, although there were more than the usual vans in attendance this year, whether it was a ratty 60’s splitty or the later caravelle camper and T4 camper it just seemed where-ever you looked there was a van there!(which is a good thing), still no Volksrods in sight (inc mine) but maybe next year we can get some out on show. A couple of traders selling wares and the usual food and drink sellers means you didn’t have to go hungry plus activities for
the little’uns makes it a good family day out!
