some of you might know about all the controversy over powercruise this year , not allowing certain people in and also now restricting media from shooting there , our plans for a powercruise weekend were voided , so we decided to join long time follower Grant Boxall on his “cruise for equality”, a cruise planned to show support for grant who , for a second time in a row , was denied entry to the WA Powercruise event
A great variety of cars turned up for an early morning start at Murdoch university car park , we then headed off to the first meet point near canning dam (pictured) where we stopped for about 20 minutes to allow some of the older cars to cool off after the hilly drive.
A few hiccups happened as with any cruise, a few unexpected road closures and direction errors made it a day to remember that’s for sure!
At the end a raffle was drawn giving away prizes donated to the cause by supporters and businesses
We’d like to thank Grant for the invite and for a good day , we even manage to win a few items in the raffle aswell!
