CMP Hot Rod Day – 8th December 2012

by

Chris Mills Performance held there open day on Saturday with blue skies and mildly warm weather to the public, and we weren’t disappointed by the cars that came for the show part! lots of old school rides from most decades and all clean and shiny and parked up along the street front and inside the grounds of the building. And a few coming and going along the way (saw some on the highway heading in) which made for a good turnover of rides as the longer you stayed, the more cars rocked up as some left. And as this was also the xams sale,  there was heaps of good quality gear on sale at better than average prices!

The amount of people leaving with all manner of parts tucked up under their arms you’d think they were giving them away! if i only had a GM/chev or ford product at home i’d probably be doing the same (might have to change that situation).

along with the enticing sale prices and the people chatting there was also a free (yes FREE!!) BBQ with cans of soft drink if you were feeling a tad hungry and thirsty (which i always am) and a jumpy castle to keep the ankle biters busy while you grabbed a bargain.

So as i’ve never made it to one of these open days i must say it was the best one yet ;).if you missed it then start saving some dough (make a nice xmas pressie) and come down for the next one and grab a bargain…or a sausage roll 🙂 DB
