Titan Ford Melville held their first “Blue Thunder” car show last Saturday in the carpark of the parts area and unfortunately the skies were not that happy first thing in the morning with an early morning shower and a couple more before mid morn, which possibly held back a few more cars showing up.. but they did get around 37 cars that did rock up to help raise money for Telethon and with the bbq running hot and a raffle to boot.
I reckon it can only get better the next time, although mainly aimed at fords and the fact it was held on ford premises, there were some brilliant examples of the blue oval on display from some old rods to some shiny new examples of the marque on display, the quality was there even if the quantity wasn’t but as the first show i reckon it went well and should be a ripper come next year.
Big congrats to Denise and everyone else who helped organise and run this event (and my donuts) and hopefully next year the rain won’t be anywhere near. 😉
