All Aussie day 2015, held at the Waroona showgrounds was another little event away from the crowds of Perth and also a cool cruise down the freeway, although the weather wasn’t the best, and with another event on north of the river numbers were down this year to about 170 or so. But if you did then you were one of the lucky ones as all the trade stands and food vendors still got a workout despite the cooler temps.
The P76 club made an impressive drawcard with almost all of the Perth clubs cars in attendance, as well as the FPV club and the Charger club of WA plus a few others still managed to at least half fill the oval!!!
The Old Machinery club, as usual, had a wide selection of vintage pumps and stationary steam engines chugging along and inside the club rooms there were the arts and craft side of things with some local wines and foody stuff to purchase.
While the numbers were down, the enthusiasm of the stall owners and car people kept the day going along quite well, and also another show away from the metro area that people should really visit next year, hopefully i’ll actually have a car there this time! woot! 😉
