The 2013 Auto One Classic Car Show was the best place to be on a beautiful Sunday in April, seriously, 26degrees with a mild breeze and around 1200 cars on show from all avenues of the car world. although some makes were not represented as much as some, there was still enough makes and models of cars and some bikes to keep you walking around all day!
Add the chit chat that can accompany an interest in all things automotive and you can easily make a day of it, not matter what you were personally into, there were so many other things to look at and check out. add to that all the vendors selling wares ranging from tyres and parts to racing memorabilia and photo shoots, Bogan wear to car importing plus all the food stalls and drinks and rides for the kids, as they say, fun for all the family!
i walked around for an hr before i retreated to the bogan and proud stall before nicking his ride on esky and going around the rest of the site in comfort, obviously getting noticed more than i normally would, but considering it took me all day to do 1 lap after stopping and talking to a heap of people i knew plus some strangers, i was glad i didn’t walk it all!!
Hopefully next year i might have a car to go in with, but if i dont…. well looks like that esky will need more fuel 😉
