The All Aussie Day 2013 held at the Pinjarra trotting track wasn’t as big as last year, mind you last year all the cars were parked on the track and suffered from dust all day, a few people said they wouldn’t return again, pity as this year it was held in the inside grassed oval as it was supposed to be last year, and with the previous days rain it made the grass greener and softer which made for a brilliant place to park up and show off your ride!
The P76 club were on mass again this year with heaps of their cars from stock to race along with the Radiators street rod and custom car club put together a fair few of their members plus the holden FE/FC club with heaps of their cars as well, there were some ‘non’ aussie cars there but they were so nice i dont think anyone minded 😉
The trade stalls and craft shops plus the bands and kids rides and all the food vendors you could easily make a day of it, of course the bar and kitchen were also open later on for the “grown up drinks”
i just hope more clubs attend this next year as it has all the makings of a great show, and we need all we can get here in Perth!!
sorry for the late postings., hopefully i’ll be up to speed by next weekends events!!!!
cheers DB.
